This delicious and faux fishy soup was inspired by a seafood chowder I used to love from the Whole Foods in downtown Brooklyn. It was so hearty but light, smooth and chunky at the same time. They were surprisingly generous with the seafood and it also had some heat.

Turn this soup in a chunky chowder by adding red potatoes or make it a bisque by blending.
